At White Stores we are extremely proud of our high-quality products and this allows us to offer extensive guarantees on all of our furniture. However, due to our vast range of products there are varying warranties applied to different product ranges as set out below. In all cases White Stores’ reserves the right to request photos or videos accurately depicting the problem in order to make a full assessment on the case at hand.
All warranties and assistance provided by White Stores is done so in addition to your statutory rights.
Our warranties specifically cover the framework and structure of your furniture as well as manufacturing or material defects. Natural wear and tear, or damages that occur due to misuse, negligence or incorrect assembly are not protected under warranty. White Stores’ reserves the right to ask questions about the use of the product and the damage incurred to establish whether this is a manufacturing error.
Our warranties are valid for the UK mainland only, from the date of delivery and are valid for the original purchaser only. Items sold on to third parties will not be covered. International orders will only be offered a 1-year guarantee, from the date of purchase, no matter the warranty advertised on the specific product. Warranties do not cover commercial use.
In addition to the structural warranty, we also offer a 3-year warranty covering fading, cracking, peeling and snapping on all of our synthetic weave. All Nova accessories are covered by a 1-year limited warranty. Our warranty does not cover glass, zips, fabric and fillings. We reserve the right to repair and/or replace parts rather than a complete item at our discretion.
Product Specific Warranty Details
Rattan Garden Furniture
Our warranties on rattan garden furniture cover structural damage, rust and fade. Natural wear and tear is not covered by the warranty. Garden furniture cushions and glass are not covered under warranty unless they have arrived damaged. If the items have arrived damaged, we may replace the items if we have been informed within 14 days of delivery. After this time, these items will not be covered under the warranty of the furniture.
Fabric Garden Furniture
Our warranties on fabric garden furniture cover structural damage, rust and fade. Natural wear and tear is not covered by the warranty. The fabric is not covered for dirt or stains unless the item has arrived damaged. We may replace the items if we have been informed of any damage within 14 days of delivery.
Damage to a parasol canopy, such as rips and tears, are covered by warranty on all parasols. The crank and tilt operation system on an aluminium crank & tilt parasol is covered under warranty. Damage to parasols including bending and damage from high winds are not covered. We always recommend that your parasols are used in conjunction with a suitable base and never used in windy conditions.
Should your cover rip at the seams, the cover is covered by warranty. Covers ripped through force or cut by scissors will not be replaced. White Stores reserves the right to make judgment on the damage incurred and whether this was a manufacturer issue or through misuse of the product. Covers may endure some fading when exposed to direct sunlight, colour fading is not covered by warranty.
Garden Furniture Cushions
All cushions for garden furniture sets should be stored indoors when not in use, unless it is directly stated that the specific cushions can be left outside. Even when covers are used to protect the furniture, cushions should be stored inside.
Maze Rattan Extended Warranty
On all Maze Rattan products both the weave and the frame are covered by a 1-year guarantee. The extended 5-year warranty offered on Maze Rattan products only covers furniture for structural damage, rust and fade to the framework of the set. This guarantee applies to all furniture sold by White Stores under the Maze Rattan brand but does not include the glass supplied with these sets.
White Stores reserves the right not to apply the extended 5-year guarantee in cases where we deem inappropriate misuse or where items have been tampered with by a third party. The guarantee will also not apply in instances deemed to be fair wear and tear by White Stores.
Kaemingk Extended Warranty
White Stores offers a 2-year warranty on all Kaemingk Christmas trees as standard. An extended 12-year warranty is available if the person registers their tree using this link (here) within 2 months of purchase.
White Stores will only honour 12 year guarantees on those products that have been registered and reserve the right to request proof of registration.
For all warranty claims White Stores reserves the right to acquire further evidence including proof of purchase, photos, videos or other means deemed necessary. White Stores will offer help regarding these claims to the best of their ability and all claims will be dealt with by the relevant customer service advisors and managers.
