This pergola is the perfect opportunity to extend your outdoor season. Thanks to the motorised tilting louvres, you can switch between a closed, sheltered space and a tilted open top, which allows sunlight to come flooding in, at the touch of a button. This pergola ultimately allows you to choose between sitting in sunshine or shade, and provides shelter should it start to rain at a moment's notice - typical of British weather!

The louvres can be opened and closed via a remote control or a wireless wall switch, a very nice feature.

Not only is there a remote control to operate the louvres, but there is also a remote to easily control the colour-changing LEDs that are fixed to this pergola. The RGBW LEDs can be adjusted to a full range of colours including red, blue, green, bright white, yellow, turquoise, pink, purple and lots in between. These great LEDs add a different aspect to this furniture, creating a magical ambience in the garden and not only meaning the pergola is suitable for use in wetter weather, but also at night - creating the ultimate outdoor shelter.

There is a brilliant built-in drainage system which prevents you from having to open the louvred roof to let water drain. Any rainwater that lands on the louvres flows into U-shaped channels. From here, the water flows from the roof and into channels in the pergola framework. Once in the horizontal framework, the rainwater will then flow into the inside of the hollow pergola legs and vertically down to the ground. This genius system means that you'll never see the water draining off of the pergola. If you were to open the louvres when wet, the U-shaped channels prevent rainwater from dripping under the sheltered area, and getting your garden furniture wet

Our weather ready pergolas offer you a sheltered option for you and your garden furniture to stay dry in rainy conditions. However, in heavy downpours, there's always a chance your pergola may leak. Just as you would with your house, we ask you to check the pergola gutters are free of debris to keep the pergola in good condition.

The 3m Privacy Screen for your Halo Pergola comes in the kit, designed to be fixed to the front of your wall-mounted Halo pergola. Once added, the screen can be pulled down in order to create a more private area, offer shade, or offer protection against the elements. This screen is an exclusive design for our Halo pergola range and will not fit any other pergola collections.

This pergola will require assembly and we recommend 2-3 people are required to safely lift and assemble the pergola. The build time is approx 2 hours and should be positioned on a solid and hard surface, like concrete bases. In order for the drainage system to do its job, the pergola should be secured to a patio that has a gradual decline. Most patios would natually have this, in order for rain water to flow away from the house. Please ensure the pergola legs are securely bolted to the floor using the holes within each leg base plate, and secured using the expansion bolts which are supplied as standard.

Our pergolas do not require planning permission. However, if you are unsure we always recommend contacting your Local Planning Office.

Please note, this pergola will need to be plugged into mains electricity in order to operate the louvres and the LED lights. 2 x 5m lead cables are included, giving you plenty of room to reach your nearest plug socket. These should be plugged into an indoor socket or suitably covered outdoor socket.
